My Studio is a mix between analog and digital equipment. But it’s not just even about the equipment you use, the most of a propper production is just the knowledge. I was teaching audio production at the Bauhaus-University in Weimar for about 6 and for more than 5 years I was working as a recording engineer for differen classic cd productions and I did radioproductions too. For the classical label Rondeau Produktion I recorded for example the St. Thomas Boys Choir Leipzig, the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig or the Knabenchor Hannover. I was producing and mixing different radio dramas for big german public radio stations.
I’m doing mixing jobs for different Artists like Martin Kohlstedt, Matthias Tanzmann, Alex Barck or Mathias Kaden. I also mixed Mathias „Studio 10“ album that got the number one house album of the Groove Magazin in 2009. During the last years I did some productions for different music projects like the album production, mixing and recording for Pentatones – The Devils Hand – Lebensfreude | 2012, the album production, mixing and recording for Christian Rottler & Galakomplex – Augenrändercharme, Mathias Kaden’s Album „Energetic“ on Freude am Tanzen or some remix productions for Mathias too. After I’ve released my Album „In The Backroom“ on Sonar Kollektiv I’m working on some new ideas for my upcomming Album. In 2017 I produced the Martin Kohlstedt Album „Strom“ and I’m on tour with him as live engineer.
